since a lot of us will be there this weekend - will we be able to play Blackjack @ the Nugget?

i know we can sit down at a table - but when we sit at the table - and if we get a BJ - will we get 3:2 or 6:5 there.

if we get 3:2 i will play there.

if we get 6:5, are there any casinos downtown that DO offer 3:2?

and what about strip hotels. is it 50/50 among BJ payouts or does 6:5 now prevail?

i hope NYNY offers 6;5 so that when i kick sick's ass in hockey saturday i can then consider playing some BJ there afterwards.

Seems to me someone said recently that The Las Vegas Club (across street, if I recall correctly) pays 3/2 and may even offer a table or two with single deck.

I would be very suprised if most of the downtown joints don't have at least some 3/2 tables.

LV CLUB has even got an early surrender option on a few of their tables.

No 6/5 Downtown that I know of ...

Nugget has a good two deck game with decent penetration. 3/2 BJ re-splits and double downs are allowed.

This game is in the pit and last week had a $25 min.

On the floor they have 6 deck with the same rules.

My favorite place to play downtown is the LV Club. They offer 3/2 on BJ and have good double deck games. The thing I like most is they do not care how much fun you are having, they will let you get as loud and abnoxious as you want. My suggestion is go to the Mardi Gras across the street and get a drink with an extra shot of Everclear nd go to the LV Club and just have fun. The LV club will let you bring the drink in. I got bombed there one night after 3.5 Mardi Gras drinks and I was playing double deck heads up. I had a 10 and a 6 down against a 7. I said hell I dotn know what to do and showed my buddies, so I asked the dealer what to do and he said "what do you have" I said 16, he said "you have to hit". I said hiy me and he gave me another 10. He said, "What do you have now?" I said 26, go ahead and hit me again and you know what? He did! He said "What do you have now?" I said 36, give me another! I could not believe it, He did!! Another damn 10, the pit boss ran over and told me not to do that again! I got in no trouble. They just said dont do it again. That resulted in not only one of my favorite stories, but also one of my most succesful BJ sessions ever! I LOVE THE CLUB!
