Anyone ever heard or use them before?

Here is their number 800-387-9358.

I am just curious if this is a STIFF book?

I never have or ever will deposit any funds at this book.

So it's that time of the year again. Football, and that's where all these offshore shops start to buy addresses to send out to the people who play offshore. This is the time of the year where you get sent those packets of literature about so many different wonderful offshore books.

Well I have recently just begun to recieve some mailings in my mail box at home. I called a few already to tell them to take me off their mailing lists. I always wonder if they actually take me off.....or just put me on a bunch more. Who knows? Although, I found it interesting when I called Tradewinds that I didn't get the right number.

I got a "Hello this is Dan at Bashers"

It sounded funny so I hung up and called the number again. Once again, "This is Bashers, Dan speaking." I asked if this number was an offshore sportsbook. He's like no this is a bowling alley and bar. I asked where I was calling in the United States. He said a city in which i forget and then said in Minnesota. I then went on to tell this guy that I was calling an 800 number both times I had called, and I thought he should know that he had a brand new FREE long distance 800 number for anyone who would want to call "Bashers" long distance. He wrote the number down and said he would inform the owner of Bashers.

I just found this really funny. Not sure if this book is shady or what the story is. This same number is even posted on their web site. www.bettradewinds.com I am wondering if they messed up and printed all their literature that was sent out to all "their" clients was wrong? Not sure what the deal is if it's some sort of a shady operation or what. I just thought I would post this to everyone so they could be on alert about this book. Who knows maybe tradewins is an up and coming book that has never had problems.....but for their number to be a BAr and bowling alley somewhere in Minnesota i think is terrible for business....especially with all the new sign up s they probably get every football season.

Please call if you guys get the chance and see if you get "Bashers"

800-387-9358

If anyone can get their real number please post it so I can call to request for them to take me off of their mailing list.

Just reloaded there. That number has been their CS # for a long time, never a problem reaching them after 11:30 AM EST weekdays. And Tradewinds does pay and I haven't heard they boot winners, I know I'm up on them.

Lakerfan call it up and see if you get the same results.

It could be the phone system i am using from work. Although, I would find it hard to believe that the phones at my work aren't dialing properly.

Tradewinds has been around a long time and as far as I know the book itself, by that I mean Tradewinds sportsbook, has always paid it players. They do have some sister books under their umbrella which may explain the phone call.

I recieved it a few days back, but this was my first attempt at trying to get off their mailing list.

I am interested if anyone has tried calling yet?

If so do you get "Bashers Bowling alley and Bar?"

The only thing i don't like about tradewinds is the fact that you have to call to get a neteller payout. i received 2 payouts and the first one i had to call 3 days in a row before finally receiving it and the 2nd one i had to call 2 days in a row. i sure wish they could pay within one day like a lot of top tier books....

Maybe Gary Austin should pay those players "like clockwork" he stiffed in Vegas.

When is Gary Austin of Tradewinds going to offer to pay back the hundreds of thousands of dollars he stole from Las Vegas sports bettors when he faked a "robbery" of Gary Austin's Race and Sportsbook and left town stiffing phone account holders and people with winning tickets and futures tickets?

Of all the people that praise Tradewinds, not one of them has ever been able to answer that question for me.
