You should come to Europe or especially Germany of Switzerland one day (in winter) and attend a hockey game. As a nhl junky (looks like you are) you would love it. Way different to the NHL and the crowd is alway into the game. It is pretty loud in the stadium. You even have a NHL playoff atmosphere during the regular season (noise level). Would be a great experience for you. Some friend from Canada really loved German hockey and the atmosphere during the game and he said it was one of the greates experiences for him as a hockeyfan.

Our German league starts in early September and nearly all teams will be packed with NHL stars this year. Even some of the worst teams signed Sturm, Erhoff, Seidenberg
