***see something familiar here?***
as for team D - NE will have the best - then maybe Balt. but if they have a great D but don't get any turnovers/sacks/touchdowns - that hurts you. although you can't go wrong with these 2.
as for kicker - PUH-LEASE consider this advice. the number of points between the top kicker in the league and the bottom one (in a fantasy league) is usually no more than about 1-3 points a game. with that is mind DO NOT take a kicker in the early rounds. in our league - we draft 15 players (2 - QB/TE/K/DEF, 3 - RB/WR and 1 of any other position). we NEVER take a kicker before round 9 at the earliest. when you do your draft - keep track of what teams have already taken kickers. if you are in a, say, 12 team draft, and come round 9, 10 teams already have kickers - and you don't - WAIT! if you have, say, 15 players on your team, no need to pick a kicker until like round 13 because NO ONE will take a backup kicker until their last - or next to last pick. this way you can fill in other spots w/o worrying about someone taking another kicker - and if they do - don't worry about that team in the leaguie - for they will suck!
