this guy's upper body now is too big for his lower body (kinda like Jamaal Anderson was for the Falcons a few years ago) Bottom line-he's not in baseball shape anymore.

I never really thought Jr. was that bulked??? And Jamal Anderson , I thought the guy had monster thighs JD???

It does seem like a blink of an eye ago that Anderson and Terrell Davis were the backs of the future...

you're right Jamal had monster thighs and it was his ankles that were not strong enough to handle his weight. i stand corrected.
Griffey'a legs have really let him down. Adam Dunne trained some in Atlanta this past winter and he said that Griffey's upper body was too big for his lower body and also that Griffey didnt train legs properly. He did say that Griffey trained very hard on his upper body but was afraid to hurt his legs by pushing them too hard.

I can see that...And if Dunne mentioned it , it especially makes sense....What can anyone say about Griffey though...this is like what 4 straight years now???

How does tearing his hamstring make him have no heart? He did do it on a diving catch. He may have bad legs, but he has heart.
