Props to them if they actually did this....a lot of places make you wait, if you didn't put in an "if-bet" then you're SOL on the next game if you're playing on low funds...
One would think books would take an attitude that the sooner a bet was graded, then the sooner that money was freed up for a bettor to wager with again, thus giving the books another chance to employ the house edge....
