if you take a team on the money line and there is a tie, does the bet push or do you lose?

If its a 3 way line with a draw option you lose. if its a 2 way line with no draw option then its a push.

Blue, if they have a spread with (pk) then it's a normal money line and you push ...

otherwise, I would assume it to be a 3 way line and you lose.

Note also that two-way lines are not always shown as a pick. Often there is a handicap like +.5 in which case it's obvious what happens in case of a draw.

An even more interesting option is the so-called Asian handicap in which you see numbers like +.25 and +.75 etc.

When you see a number like this it's treated as if you put half your bet on the nearest half below and the other half on the nearest half above. For example if you bet $100 on team A +.75 that's treated as though you bet $50 on team A +.5 and $50 on team A +1

These two-way lines including Asian handicap are the only way to bet soccer IMO -- much better than the three-way line.

You also have to check when your book considers the game to be a final. Most books include injury time and most books don't count extra time such as golden or silver goal time. None count shoot-outs.

There is also another Asian handicap in 3 way betting where you can play team A against team B AND the draw. This gives 4 options, both teams and both teams with draw.

Vig in soccer is hard to overcome.

Sides are tough to beat. On a 3-way line, the typical hold is 9%. Totals have a higher hold also, but they are much softer (and with lower limits).
