I got moron line 21 at WWTS. Saw -5500/+3300 somewhere. I was hoping to take $L on next game, points good on this one. Just need Lithuania/Argentina final for gold. Have both over 9-1. WWTS also had US undefeated, I layed -2.00 no, but it dropped to -1.60. No double hits allowed. Will make a bunch against this team. Best Wishes...OF

Is Octavio Dotel a Herges clone? He was very fortunate not to get b2b blown saves, as the A's bailed him out of his givin up the long ball closing. He even ended up getting a W!
Did Cards really need another bat? Walker is just another power hitter, but a decent contact guy, to not be able to pitch around. Cubs may have got Nomar, but still a bunch of free swingers, see Sammy, around him. The Cards have the much better lineup. Cubbies have the arms.
A sigh of relief as all is well with USA Basketball. They beat World Champs Serbia. But wait, no Divac, Peja, Darko and others. Another no show team. I am taking Argentina and Lithuania. Both over 8-1. Kelly Criterion. Also bet side bet US team would not go undefeated during Olympics -2.00-1. This is the worst team I have ever seen assembled. No muscle, no height, no pg, and most importantly, no shooters. Experience totally lacking. Not going to get experience in 2 weeks.
Still sitting on Diego Corrales position. Decent two way action, but no real money yet. Last fight Diego got steamed large fight day. Even if you do not bet it, watch it. Two fighters, neither can box worth a shit. Still, Goosen worked a miracle between fights, getting Diego to believe in jab. With his height and reach, an awesome weapon. Believe fighters are going in different directions, but just about even at this juncture. Both fought Casamayor, but Diego fought him twice, blasted him 2nd time. Frietas just squeaked by, on a disputed decision, 2 years ago, avoided him after that. Last couple of fights, just looked ordinary. Might have slipped. Should be a fight of year candidate.
History may be made today at San Francisco as Maddux goes for 300. Probably one of the best pitchers of our time, and yet, least embraced by the media. If you do not throw a 100 mph heater, you just are not worth writing about. Well, he is one of the best control pitchers ever, and except for Barry, rest of SF lineup does not have a clue. Total power outage, as they can't hit anything deep. He gets Hennessey on other side. Giants had one rook pitch lights out against Reds. Lowry was just amazing. But with Jerome now on DL, another rook gets to start. Little tougher start vs. Cubs and Maddux. Giants gave him #200, could make it #300 today. Should have got it last start, but was a bit shaky with all hypesters hounding him. Better to be on road. Best Wishes to Greg today.

We had this team pegged OMT. I saw your writeups, I read same thing, swiss cheese roster, tons of holes. Lack of perimeter D and perimeter shooters got them today. But they can lose in many ways. Got lucky with 1 pt Argentina win, it was 1 or pk. I layed the .20 for pick small. Much bigger fade vs. US, which actually got steamed before post, up from 19 1/2 to 21 1/2. Guess wrong team won by 19. No guts for $L. Still, lot of opportunities to earn. Best Wishes...OF

This was an undefeated in 50 Olympic games. Really benefit from history here. Plus Stern, my old buddy David wanted poster kids for marketing. So many duplicate skills. I think value decimated by outright loss. I was hoping for 10 point win. This is just too much of an eye opener, after Italy, not to make huge adjust on number. Still, the fade is on for me.
