USA is 14.5 point favorites (Olympic). BTW The scheduled time I posted in the title is very unofficial.

wilheim,

Where did you find that price?
Which books have prices anyhow?
I only saw Pinnacle and Worldportcenter so far.

I found the price at Olympic. I just noticed the USA is also -125 on top of the 14.5 points.

135 USA -14½ points -125
136 Australia +14½ points +100

Mr. Liesure there is OT in the Olympics. The 3 way betting allows a book to get a free number. By that I mean you can lay or take ten (example) but if it lands ten you lose because of the draw option on plus or minus 10. Any other book offering just two options (plus or minus 10) would allow you to push if the games falls 10.

5Dimes actually has a total on the game. It's 154.5 with a 30 cent line. They also have 1st half and quarter betting.

X-Files:

If you have seen my comments on threads regarding this USA team, I have consistently pointed out the various weaknesses in this team and even predicted that they may not medal at all. In my last comment following the Puerto Rico debacle, I stated that the play in this tournament is to fade the USA every game and even possibly play the ML dogs. So far, they haven't disappointed either pre-olympics or the games themselves. That should tell you which side I will be on.

so WHO won??

The US won 89-79 but didn't pull away until mid-4th quarter. Australia led by 4 at halftime after shooting 63% and by 2 after three quarters. Kudos to both Olympic and 5Dimes for offering a 2nd half line. It stabilized at around 9 to 9.5. The game line closed around 15.5.
