There is absolutely no VP of value to be had, unless I missed a progressive of some kind.

The nicest casino on your path will be the ROUTE 66 Casino about 25 miles west of Albuquerque on I-4O.

Not sure of their BJ rules, as I am not a BJ player.

PS- Had their 11AM lunch buffet and it was very good.

Yes, nothing looks out of place whatsoever.

There are also a couple of nice casinos just off of I-40 in Albuquerque too that you may want to check out.

There are some casinos in Olkahoma also that if I remember right are just west of Oklahoma City.

You will see them all from the highway.

Louisana was the only state that I got off the beaten path to look at all the casinos they had to offer.

The casino in Kinder was my personal favorite.

Blackjack?????

NO WAY, NOT AT ALL!

Strictly slots, video poker, poker, and sports.

Nothing else really sparks my interest in the gambling world........unless I am playing matchplays at BJ of course.

Bigbet- By the way, if I were you, I would stop in Indiana along the way and have either Bucs or the General buy you some beers.

It is the very least they can do considering they are moderaters here at the RX.

I stopped at that casino in New Mex, ate and got some gas. Hit the highway again and the next thing I know my car blows up and I'm stuck in "lovely" Grants, NM for 7 days. Then I get a U-haul to tow my car into Vegas and it breaks down just past Laughlin.

As of late, I havent been partaking in that activity either.

My girlfriend dumped me three months ago and I am struggling in coming to grips with that.

OMG!

I would be having convulsions if stranded in Grants for even a day, let alone seven!!

At least it wasnt Gallup, what a *hithole that place is.

Actually I stayed in Gallup for two days after time in Grants because I had to go to the Pep Boys there and then wait for the U-Haul place to open. Believe me Gallup is ten times the entertainment that Grants is. Gallup had a mall and a Wal-Mart.
Unfortunately, New Mexico doesn't sell beer on Sundays. But I do remember placing some CAA hoops bets at the Grants Public Library with First Fidelity at the time.

Green-

LoL, I know the Sunday no beer sale all to well.

I stayed in Gallup on the way to Vegas and wandered down to the bar at the local Applebees(hard to believe Gallup has one) and ordered a beer only to be told no beer sales on Sundays!!

I was totally stunned and depressed to be in Gallup at 7pm and find no beer.

Would have never stopped there if I had known that.

To make matters totally worse, later that night in downtown Gallup, I was approached by an Indian Transvestite!!

Welcome to my nightmares!!

Love New Mexico. Would love to live there. My Mom grew up in Espanola. Taos is awesome. I remember when it was hippy town. Santa Fe too touristy and overpriced though. Lots of great sites there. Used to spend every summer there.
