Sorry to those that READ THE FIRST POST AND WANTED TO PLAY....Its obvious some did not, and then decided against....all the while not grasping the point of the contest was not to have a spread (which defeated the purpose in this format)

I spent a good bit of time in this thread, and it ended up being a waste of time, among other things...sorry some didn't understand that...

Is the post-up an entry fee?

What is payback?

I am probably in no matter what.

hey.. had kind of a rough summer, familywise, so I hadn't been posting as often. But I'm still here.

I'll consider this one as well, but I hate having 10 sets of picks to cheer on. Its hard enough as it is not letting my Fantasy Football team (played with high school friends) affect my sports bets. Its sad too, because one of my football bets would be more than the league championship prize in our league, but sometimes I care more about my players doing well.

So I'll think about it, but if I do join, I suppose i'll be playing same picks in both. Oh well, if they are hot, thats double the winnings.

Entry fee Fish....assume we play for 100 and get 20 players thats a $2000 pot..

We could have 3 places for the winners;

1000
600
400

If we go 200 we can double it or adjust accordingly...

FSB I know exactly what you are saying! I usually think the same way....This contest is more for fun than anything else...some guys play just to have a little more interest and some guys play to live on the edge....just another option is all

Good luck this season FSB

Blue I already mentioned the scoring

Top team (one you would think will win easiest) 14 points

Bottom team (one you think will win least of all) 1 point

14 down to 1

the winning games you get credit for your points risked , the losing games you get no points awarded...

points scored each week will be kept and a cumulative total for the entire season will be kept...

14 points WIN
13 points WIN
12 points WIN
11 points LOSS
10 points WIN
9 points Loss
8 ponits Loss
7 points WIN
6 points Win
5 points Loss
4 points Loss
3 points Win
2 points Win
1 point Loss

Your week would be 67 points won (another words those games won and those were the points risked) very simple concept
