How is Owens a newcomer? Unless you mean new team.

Anyway my candidate is the #1 draft pick overall, none other than:
ELI.

Now he is a newcomer.

Losman & McGahee (if you count him, and his cry baby faggot ass agent doesn't get him traded for being an overly high maintanence bitch after a whopping 55 career yards - all preseason, mind you).

Ok, I feel better.

Have a feeling Chris Sims is going to be needed in Tampa Bay this year, and will get the job done....

Have a feeling Johnson doesnt finish the season....

Hope I'm wrong....

I hope young Simms does well, I always have had a lot of respect for his father. Phil Simms got the most out of limited ability, and imo always (still does) conducted himself with class on and off the field.

I guess it depends. If by "newcomer" you mean a rookie, I'd have to guess Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals.

With Cardinals main receiver Boldin out for much of the year, if not all, Fitzgerald, who has great talent already will get even more catches.

Also, Shawn Andrews, OG for Eagles and Vince Wilfork, DT Pats will have big roles in winning teams at less glamorous positions.

Two other big time rookies will be Julius Jones, RB in Dallas and Kenechi Udeze, DE for Vikings.

Eli Manning may be a great QB down the road but like all rookies in modern day football, will struggle in his rookie season.

Oh yeah, and Sean Taylor with the Redskins has to be up there.

if it's new player to his team, the one guy that is the wild card is terrell owens. potentially, he can really open up the offense.

with his psychological make-up, he could also send the Eagles into a tailspin.

Sorry to sound like a politician, but Owens has the most potential to make a positive or negative impact.

Corey Dillon. The Pats kicked ass with average backs - it's scary to think how much better Dillon could make them.

even if he doesn't put up big numbers himself, he will draw alot of heat off rodgers.

As far as rookies, to me it's hands down Kellen Winslow, Jr. The kid is an asshole, but he can play. He'll have 80 catches 10 TDs with Garcia dumping off to him.

With Walters breaking his arm last night look for Brandon Stokley to get some serious work in Indy. He came to indy late last season. Showed skill already.

Chris Simms in Tbay..The kid looked like a pro in college with that long body and drop back style..If given the opportunity, he could be special..

Winslow is a gamer, pull up a chair and enjoy..If his team starts losing, the kid will give great press..

Manning..Great athleticism..Bright..The position takes great patience and experience..If given the chance out of the gate, his breeding needs to overcome the pressure of his chosen environment..A competitive Giant team makes for a happier customer base for me..

We should enjoy the maturation of all 3..The clock is ticking and opening day quickly approaching..

Brandon Stokely is a gamer General...he seems to get hurt alot, as we had him here in Balto, he made some huge catches in the Ravens Super Bowl season (postseason)...

I have no doubt he will shine as the underneath receiver in Indy, looks like he has that chance now!
