I agree and personally think it stinks. The NFL wants more scoring but imo going about it the wrong way. Why not make it easier for offensive teams to operate easier at the line of scrimage. Some of the illegal procedure calls are a joke, maybe let the pass protectors have a little more leeway. I don't know, but it seems that a DB breathing on a reciever should't end up in a 30 yard penalty.

Between replay and flags you have to hold your breath for 10 or 15 seconds after every play anymore. The first thing I look for after an 8 yard gain by my team is a flag laying somewhere on the ground. I am not one to bitch much, but I hope the refs find some kind of fair way to enforce these new rule interpatations when the regualr season starts. Natrually I know a penalty can help my bet as well as hurt it, the flags work both ways. Still I would much rather see the players play, and the refs stay secondary to the action.

I despise the way the NFL runs the instant replay....There has to be a better way...
Also not looking forward to all the pass interference calls, why not throw it deep now? You have an even greater chance of getting a positive result ....the ticky tack penalties at the line of scimmmage are what I would like to see changed...the NFL has gotten so rule retarded it takes away some...
After every play its like a check of 20 different components just to see if the play is allowed...ridiculous! If they want more points they shouldnt be making it tougher , for example just make it easier on the receivers 'catching' the ball, 'did he have possesion long enough', hell let em have just one foot in bounds too...let them set picks down feild even...
There's so much speed on the field it just keeps getting tougher to move the ball.
