NFC Seattle Seahawks will make their first ever Super Bowl appearance, and from the AFC the Baltimore Ravens will be back in the Super Bowl, led by a defense and ground combo that will be very similar to their Super Bowl team a few years back...

Seattle vs Baltimore -6

Ravens win 2005 Super Bowl

Colts have no chance. Worst team ever put on a football field.

I am taking a hard look at Carolina with current future odds of 25-1. This team still possesses a quality running game with Davis and Foster, excellent receivers in Muhammed and Smith, solid quarterbacking with Delhomme and on defense, an excellent defensive front seven with strength and speed on the ends as well as linebackers, thereby stopping the run. Corners are still a bit of a question. Excellent special teams with Kasay and Sauerbraun.

The NFC is not overwhelmingly strong in my opinion. The one draw back is the Panthers road schedule early in the season. But, they proved last year that they can win big games on the road in the playoffs. This is a seasoned team believing they can return to the Superbowl and so far in preseason have shown no reason to think that they can't. I think excellent value at the current price.

I like Carolina alot as well...They have a brutal schedule though...Jake looks like the next big thing in the NFL, this guy is the real deal...They have no glaring weakness.
