I watched both the heats and semi's and really can't see anyway Asafa Powell doesn't win gold. He seems very poised and is by far the best sprinter. Powell has also been conserving his energy well. In the heats he shut down halfway thru and still ran under 10 sec!

Anyone have opinions?

Powell at +100 is worth a medium play.

Good Luck with the play...

I was just imagining have a large wager on something that was over in 10 seconds...no time to get scared or feel cheated or happy...over in a blur!

I see what you're saying, but value is value. Barring a terrible start Powell will win and I think he sets a new WR. This guy is a beast!

By the way I don't think M. Greene finishes on the podium. If anyone can tell me where I can get odds on this please share.

I have Shawn Crawford +225. He is the "new" Maurice Greene.

I also have Kim Collins +2000 for a small play. He is the defending world champion and has been taking is easy (supposedly) so far.

I agree Crawford is probably the closest challenger (along w/Obikwelu) but odds of +225 are not reflective of his chances of winning.

Betfair offers Crawford at +400
