Fish,

Both urls ( sirtwo.com and sirbet.com ) are now fully redundant and maybe both utilized to logon to their website. Sirtwo was used during the switch from the old software platform to the new one primarily to avoid downtime and ensure continuity of service.

Fish,

Besides my Bowman's account, I'm looking for another out.

Does SirTwo (SirBet) welcome smart money players, steam chasers, wise guy action, etc.?

I'm also looking at Hollywood Sportsbook.

Thanks for your time and help.

Chalk,

Sirbet is one of the ( few ) books out there that doesn't mind that kind of action.

Depending on your type of play, I would probably look at CRIS, SKYBOOK, ABC ISLANDS, or PINNACLE before going with SIRBET as another football out.........or even HOLLYWOOD as you suggest.

Unless sirbet has changed the limits, thier online limits are a nickel. Which is something to consider if you are looking to bet big

I would disagree with this statement.

After depositing $2,500, and losing about $1,000 of that, my limits were cut from $500 down to $100.

I am a not a Don Best user, but I am a line shopper that was only betting good numbers at Sirbet. It's also safe to say that at least 80% + of my bets were NOT during line moves, but rather during a lull in line moves when Sirbet just happened to have the best number available.

Your kidding, Right? The are so afraid to books sharps. Where do you get you info from? Why send someone into this book that will not be welcomed? They only want squares, don't blame them, but don't make them out to be wiseguy friendly, cause they ain't and I am sure they would admit to that.

Hali, sorry to hear about your experience. According to Corby they have no problems with that kind of action provided its phone biz. Maybe he's right, maybe he's just bragging. I know of a few players that give that kind of action without problems.

Fishhead is right on the money. CRIS or Pinny would be top choice for this player.

In fairness, I can't speak about their tolerance level for phone bets, as I've only ever bet over the Internet with them (usually at their $500 max).

Thanks to all that have responded, too many to name!

I usually like to play anywhere from a nickel to two dimes a game. Right now, I currently play $1500 per game on baseball.

I used to play at Las Palmas, because their lines were slower to move and could wager online, but that changed, as I could only wager $200.00 maximum online, but could wager xxx amount on the phone.

I'm looking for a book that isn't scared. I already have enough banks (locally) that are scared. As a matter of fact, I told one of my banks they should rename theirselves to Scared Bank, instead of ... Don't get me started on this one, please ...

A long time ago, I was with Wall Street Sportsbook, and the experience with them, was well, not a memorable one. Another scared book, plus the sportsbook manager was a prick.

Bowman's has been nothing short of excellent. Never a problem, never even had to phone in a bet.

I believe Hollywood, CRIS, ABC Islands, Olympic, Cascade, and Grande look like they fit me best. I'm not a bonus whore, but I do like the reduced vig that Hollywood is offering. I just don't want the inconvience of having to call in a wager.

Does anyone know of the books mentioned above how long can you sit on a web page before being logged off? I'd really appreciate this information.

I've left WWTS off for a reason, as FROG had a problem with them a month or so ago, and I won't support a book that cancelled a small wager, as I believe it was less than $200.00.

Once again, thanks to all that have responded.
