saturday night the wife and i go to the cin/az game. i know, i know, it was free, so we made a night of it.
about 10pm or so, the game is over. my wife, the party pooper she is, and me, the motor that never quits wanted to go out.
so i walk my wife to bed, and come down for a night on the town, yippeee fvckin eeee.....if you have ever been to phoenix(downtown that is) there is nothing to do. so i go to majerle's, yeap the ex-player of the phoenix suns has a bar.
so i sit there have a couple beers, and decide to take a look next door to see where all the music is coming from. i walk in and there are mexicans every where. i dont really notice....at first, so i walk up to the bar and get a drink. then a couple of security guards come up speaking some spunk-nic.....i was like, WTF?? they thought i was hispanic. i have had this in the past. for you guys that seen me at the bash, do i look mexican??? anyways, they ask for a $10 cover, i tried to explain i got burned on the d-back game, and they just laugh, and act as if they know what i am saying, to make a long story short, they let me stay for free, and i get a beer to boot!
after 10 mins. of listening to some music i have no idea what they are saying, and taking stares from the mexican mob, i decide to make my exit.
so back at majerle's, this time a bum, and intelligent one at that, begins telling me how he is in phoenix getting ready for sugery on his colon. this is my specialty, colon cancer runs in my family, to say the least i knew a little more than he thougt. we came to agreement, he was going to try and scam me with a knife kit. he had 2 he lifted from down in tucson.
after we discussed hyigene, colon's, beer and his knife kit, i talked him down to $5.00 for a knife kit. this is a nice ass kit. it has a knife, with a weed leaf on it, and it come with a matching lighter, and metal case.
to make a long story short. his going rate was $25 per kit, i got him down to $5. this was great due to the fact that i like to shop early for our $10 gift we give at christmas time between my family. i got a bargain this year.
