Anyone use Bodog for football?

I used them a little bit for basketball last year, but they do deal dual lines, no doubt. This is the line I got last night, while checking out the Eagles/Steelers game. Philly -3.5 +105, Pitt +3.5 -125. Pretty much nothing you could do with either side, since they wouldn't let me buy or sell points either way. If that is how their lines are gonna be, then they are of no use, with the many other books out there? Anybody ever find them useful?

you picked one game that did sort of frustrate you but that should not deter you from BODOG. They have solid lines some opinions from time to time and sometimes you can get a -100 (ie no juice) on a side you want anyway and not have to pay -105 at Pinnacle. Give them a shot but shop around on any one given game.

Right when I signed up, their dog lines were pretty good. Then, after no time, and trust me I'm not that sharp, I started having a really hard time getting a bet down there. Never the best line for me. Really haven't been with them for football, but what the hell was that last night? I've never seen a line that unbettable.

BoDog is decent, but I would make sure to use them with other outs.
Illini, when are you coming out to Vegas?

just my 2 cents from having used them the past couple years. they seem like maybe they have a limit as to how much they want to take from sharps on a particular game and once they reach that limit the line moves to a "squares only" type line such as you saw last night. what ive found is if you want to get down on a popular play you better do it before gameday or you'll likely find lines such as these. i could be totally wrong but thats my take on it from my observations.

Hey, I got your e-mail, just haven't gotten a chance to reply. I get in Wed, Sept 8 at about 4:30pm, and I'm there until Tues, the 14th. I'm gonna visit at least one dealer school, and I've got a lot of questions for you. I know you don't drink anymore, so we'll have a few cokes, not beers, and shoot the bull. I'll be in touch, looking forward to it!

This was one of my original shops.ocasionally you can pick up a good dog price, but find I don't make as many plays there as I use too. They cheated me out of a Boxing wager a couple of years back, so I don't feel the same way about them
