Candidly, this list shows just how weak the NFL has become at quarterback. Other then Favre, Manning and possibly Brady, the rest are the best of an average field in the league. The days of Montana, Marino, Elway, Young, to name a few, are sadly, long gone. Parity in the NFL has creeped into all positions. Still love the game, but the quality of play is not what it was just a few years ago.

No doubt, and I have said this before the position is in sad shape overall....look at the position 10-15 years ago compared to now....The league can't even fill each team with a quality QB...just look at Dallas ...

My top 5

McNair does more with less
Favre still the man
Brady proven winner
Manning hasn't won enough
McNabb at #5 just shows how far the QB position has dropped off
Pennington huge upside

Pennington is better than #10. I'm shocked at the people saying he's awful. I'm at every game and he is much better than you think. This is only his 2nd full year at starter and his first was one of the best years at QB that year. A bunch of haters in here.

Brady is like Montana; damn good but, thanks to a great supporting cast on both sides of the ball, over-rated.

1) Manning
2) Favre
3) Vick
4) McNabb
5) Pennington

With an injury-free season Vick could end up number one on my list. He looks like he could be another Elway; a guy who can turn a defense's biggest asset (a brutal pss-rush) into a liability.
