Las Vegas football contests were not meant to be tests of skill. They were conceived as magnets for increasing foot traffic. The contests that attract the most participants have low entry fees and don’t use pointspreads. Their designers were guided by the KISS principle: Keep it simple, stupid

just have it in an office pool format with pointspreads. i hate the no pointspread crap.

OR ,AND THIS IS GOOD.....
Maybe just have players pick 5 games a week all vs the spread and rank em in order of top to bottom

at end of week if you win your top game u get 5 points 4 for 2nd best game....... so even if u go 3-2 but lose your top 2 games u only get 6 points for that week.

obviously with a ton of people in the contest maybe you should do 10 teams a week and 10-1 on the points schedule.
