no way you pinch hit that early General....you still only have a 37% chance of reaching base on average...That move could screw your team up for 3-4 games actually...

unless you have the over then you pinch hit every chance you get

It depends on the situation ..
say your down 3-0 in a playoffs and losing game 4 early, then maybe ...

you can run this starter back out for game 5 and a pen spot in the 7th.

In every other scenario - highly unlikely.

Doing such a thing would burn out your bullpen so fast and you can be assured you will have no shot at playoffs.
