you don't have enough qb's....too many wr's....with the exception of a few, receivers are a dime a dozen.....boldin is out 8-12

I think you could have got way better then Shockey. He is a huge question mark. Boldin already done. Why the lame QB's? I think you are looking at 9th or 10th. Did you have to take so many receivers? Did you study or prepare for the draft? Since you asked, I think your team is crap. Best Wishes...OF

Is this for a yardage or points league? The answer will affect my opinion.

We haven't finished our draft yet but here are some of my players:

I had the 10th pick in our draft which I prefer because you can usually get 2 decent players close together without having to wade through 20+ picks by which time your other player is gone. Usually I prefer running backs in the first round but this year I took Harrison and Moss right away in rounds 1-2. I did so with the expectation to treat them as a possible hedge by trading one or both for decent RB's but I like who I drafted enough to keep things as they are for now as I got Alexander, McCallister, K. Jones and S. Davis.

Qbs not good, Bledsoe is a horror show. Your RBs are good but like another guy said ,only 3 is way too few.

I think Plaxico is gonna have a huge year (slow start last year) Chad Johnson may not be as good because he has a rookie throwing to him

Personally, I think your team is pretty good for a 12 teamer. I see a few question marks but in general it is OK.

In fact, I will go out on a limb and say that you probably have a few guppies in your leagues. No way you should have Green, Barlow, and C. Johnson on the same team from the 4 spot.

I would have taken 4 RBs if I were you (I took 4 + 1 criminal). I actually like your receiving corps but you have too many who are capable of the same things and too many from AZ. Your QBs are not so good. Bledsoe sucks and Garcia is a question mark. If either of these guys turn out you will have a very competitive team.

WRs can always be had from the waiver wire. A few guys go undrafted and turn out to be very good backups.

FWIW, here is my team from a 12 teamer and we have 1 guppy in our league (he is the returning champion...imagine that), 1 owner who I think smoked crack before the draft (took Vick in round 1), and 1 owner did not make the draft but supplied a list to someone else and instructed him to choose from that list in order.

Start: 1QB, 3 WR/TE, 2RB, 1K, 1DEF
Rules: Keep two players drafted after the 3rd round in the prior year

QB: Brooks, Brad Johnson, Josh McCown
RB: James, Taylor, Barber, Moe Williams, Pittman
WR: Joe Horn, Jimmy Smith, Santana Moss, Rod Smith, Warrick
K: Vinatieri
DEF: Tenn

2.Kevan Barlow took a gamble
3.Chad Johnson very productive
4.P. Buress should have a great year
5.A. Toomer very productive
6.Griffin system guy
7.Garcia took a risk
8. Fitzgerald should be the real deal
9. Tampa Bay nice D
10. Akers very consistent
11. Shockey what do you want from a TE
12. Muhammad ok
13. bledsoe either bust or studd
14. Graham typical tight end
15. Dyson # 1 WR on the team
16. Boldin... nothing really left.... maybe will help later in the year back in early october...

Mr. NJ Sports-

I don't love Brooks (and he's actually nursing an injury) but I got good value when I drafted him and he fits well with my team.

Pittman still plays for TB. He will serve a 4 game suspension once the season starts. During preseason camp he practiced with the first team extensively and is expected to be the starter once he returns. I feel great about my RBs and hope that I can trade Pittman or Barber plus a WR (Either Smith or Moss) for a better WR later during the season.

Garner is a fill in while Pittman is out.
