great movie, but my favorite gambling flick is California Split by Robert Altman. http://imdb.com/title/tt0071269/

Saw it at some film festival at the Palms, covers almost every area of gambling....ponies, poker, sports, table games, you name it Elliot Gould and George Segal bet on it.

"The Cincinnati Kid" is my all time favorite gambling movie. Must have seen it at least a dozen times. Young upstart Steve McQueen trying to take down the master Edward G. Robinson. The game: Five Card Stud. Great movie for all age groups.
