No wonder he wanted to keep it hush...

A benign tumor found in his pituitary gland, is yet another reason to believe J.G. was doing heavy performance enhancing drugs....not to mention his losing 30 lbs and batting .240 with no pop....

Hope it was worth it Jason...nearly dropping dead is not worth it

Looks like Garry Sheffield is a bit banged up - from NY Post:

"There is a knot in the back of the shoulder," Sheffield said after emerging from the trainer's room where he received heat and electric stimulation treatments.

While Sheffield's bursitis and torn muscle troubles haven't completely gone away, they haven't been barking as loud lately. Sheffield couldn't pinpoint during what at-bat he had the awkward swing, but he went 0-for-4 in a 5-3 win.

Sheffield, who missed Sunday's game in Toronto with a twisted ankle, was in right field for the second straight game last night, as he went 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

Sheffield has had a great year considering his assortment of injuries...remember, he started the season debating whether to have his wrist operated on...
