This just isn't right. Giants had 2nd and 3rd, 1 out...bottom of the 1st inning. And the Dbacks intentionally walk Bonds? So they can pitch to JT Snow, who has been on fire since coming back from his injury? And Arizona was winning 3-0!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, pitch to the guy. I hope the Giants score 8 runs in this inning...Arizona deserves it. JT Snow already burned them.

San Francisco Inning Summary
-M. Tucker struck out swinging
-E. Alfonzo singled to center
-D. Cruz singled to left, E. Alfonzo to second
-E. Alfonzo to third, D. Cruz to second on passed ball
-B. Bonds intentionally walked
-J.T. Snow singled to center, E. Alfonzo scored, D. Cruz to third, B. Bonds to second

I don't necessarily think walking Bonds is a bad idea.

However, I don't understand Arizona's strategy in this game.

They're up 3-0 in the 1st...so they walk Bonds (and load the bases), giving San Fran the chance to have a huge inning...and that's exactly what San Fran did. Why not pitch to Bonds? At worst, he hits a homer and you're tied 3-3. But at least the bases would be empty.

The next inning, Zona is down 7-3...with 1st base open, they pitch to Bonds. He hits a 2-run homer and basically puts the game out of reach.

I guess hindsight is 20/20...but I think it would've been better to pitch to Bonds in the 1st inning...and then walk him in the 2nd.

Plus, if you're gonna walk him in the 1st...why do you suddenly decide to pitch to him in the 2nd? Did Bonds become a crappy hitter during that 20-minute span?????

Wow.......this is just wrong.......Arizona was losing 11-3......and they INTENTIONALLY walked Bonds??????

I can understand if the game is close....and I can understand if you're playing for a division, wild-card, etc......but what the hell is Arizona doing?

And it cost them AGAIN...Snow and Pierzynski got hits....

San Francisco Inning Summary
-M. Tucker walked
-E. Alfonzo doubled to left, M. Tucker scored
-D. Cruz grounded out to pitcher
-B. Bonds intentionally walked
-J.T. Snow singled to center, E. Alfonzo scored, B. Bonds to third
-A.J. Pierzynski singled to right, B. Bonds scored, J.T. Snow to second
-D. Mohr walked, J.T. Snow to third, A.J. Pierzynski to second
-C. Ransom flied out to left
