When i went to camp many many fortnights ago, the last week was ALL SPORTS. They would divide us campers into two teams, usually BLUE OR GOLD and whichever TEAM had accumulated the most points at the end of COLOR WAR would be declared the CHAMPIONS...
It would break out when campers least expected it, for example, a plane would fly over the campgrounds and throw out papers telling us which team we were on...
Surely, I am NOT the ONLY one here who has participated in COLOR WAR?
THE SHRINK

Shrink, we did this too, at Camp Herzl, a Jewish summer camp in Wisconsin. They always came up with unique ways to spring it on us.
Once I believe they invented a girl who had gone missing in the lake. They took us all into the dining hall and lectured us about how this girl could be dead and how we failed to use the "buddy system" and so on for like 15 minutes before filing us out to the lake to help look for her. Only then did they spring it on us.
Bastards.
The real question is.. did you and your camp buddies wager candy and money on Color Wars? At a Jewish summer camp, let me tell you this was a no-brainer.
We were all such budding degenerates...

Sports camps are the only way to go. I was shipped off with my buddies to a church camp where some burned out ex-druggie surfer preached to us the equivalent of "Living in a van down by the river". Thank god some of my grade school sports playing buddies were there.
