129 Bernard Hopkins -219
130 Oscar De La Hoya +199

I can only see the price going up on Hopkins, anyone who likes the favorite would be wise to bet now.

RPM - good luck with the under - nice price imo.

I think the price on Hopkins will go down and I think you will be able to get a better price on the under closer to the fight.

oscar is the man when it comes to a public favorite.....

odessa would have a good read on the fight as far as line moves...

The fight definately goes under if Oscar comes in fat - either way he gets his ass kicked - if he's out of shape he loses between 6 and 8.

de la hoya is not gonna stay inside and slug it out with the executioner fellas. he'll try to keep bernard at bay with jabs and i believe that knowing hopkins can easily knock him out, oscar will likely do alot of running after the first two rounds. this fight can easily go the full 12.

That's exactly why I see the line going lower. ODLH had never been an underdog until this fight and I think more and more people will bet him as this fight gets closer. Especially in sich a big fight where so much public money comes in late.

I've been boxing and following boxing for years. Be careful betting on Hopkins--he's really not the same fighter when he beat Trinidad. In fact, he's looked terrible in his last couple of fights. DLH got screwed in Mosley II, and Mosley I was closer than everybody said.

Plus...I love betting underdogs in boxing-$$

For anyone without an opinion on this fight a very good stradegy is to see where the very late money goes. I have seen it happen a lot over the years, the real smart money will come in late and force serious line movement one way or another, the move usually gets there.

Wil---good point.

I think I may go with DLH, though, -219 is a good price for what I see as a close match. Maybe Hop get DQ'd.

The money in Vegas will pour in on Oscar and they will be tearing up their tickets. Amazing the credit he gets despite never getting the job done in big fights. Sure you can blame the judges, his strategy, or whoever, but the bottom line is this guy never is at his best when on the biggest stage. You have to admire a guy that gets people to look past that and still pay big bucks for tickets and pay per view despite such a humongous flaw.

I will wait until late money pours in on the dog and then lay hopefully around -150 or so.

Like I said, the under would get to a better price closer to the fight
