Is it right that a book (that advertises on therx) I posted up with has beaten me, then cut my limits way down? There website that says on the phone they will take monster limits and a dime over the internet. Well I have been playing anywhere from 500-1000 a game, and then I find out my limit has been cut to $400. They say its because I beat the number, but is this fair being a loser at the spot?
I DONT THINK THERE IS A CONCRETE ANSWER. WHATEVER THE BOOK SAYS IS WHAT IS FAIR. AS PLAYERS WE HAVE TO EITHER LIVE WITH IT OR MOVE ON TO ANOTHER STORE. IVE HAD MY LIMITS CUT MANY TIMES THROUGH THE LAST DECADE ITS JUST A FACT OF THE BIZ AND SOMETHING YOUVE GOTTA DEAL WITH. EVERY PLACE IS DIFFERENT. SOME ONLY CUT BACK WINNERS. OTHERS LOOK AT WHO IS GETTING TO THE NUMBERS BEFORE THE MOVES.
ONE MORE THING IS THAT BOOKS ADVERTISE VERY HIGH LIMITS ALOT OF TIMES BUT THERE SHOULD BE AN ASTERISK IN THERE TO INDICATE "ONLY FROM SQUARES" AND ANYONE WHO WINS CONSISTENTLY WILL BE LOWERED OR BOOTED. SHOPS ARE AROUND TO MAKE MONEY AND WILL CURTAIL ANYONE WHO GETS IN THE WAY OF THAT. HAPPENS IN LAS VEGAS OFTEN TIMES AS WELL.

cutting you limits.......just means they are working the book properly...
imo, that is a good sign.......it means they are paying attention to what's going on.....gl
