As an aside, I believe that the most OVERRATED handicapping angle is REVENGE, period...

Chris Rix has been trying to get revenge his whole career...The only game he ever won was the Fla game and that was given to him by the referees( as i have said 1.4 million times)

I am going with FSU (TV game half unit for fun wager) , this game is heads or tails and no one can tell me different...

Miami @ home, first ACC clash, it does not get any better, neither team with a showcase QB though.

In terms of national importance this game is huge. In terms of tradition it doesn't match some of the long-standing rivalries.
Fishhead, I seriously hope your Iowa-Iowa St. post is in jest. As a matter of fact, comparing those joke of a big ten schools to these two is a joke in itself.

But to be kind, that kid Ferenz is doing a helluva job with your Hawkeyes.

I never play openers. But those who are keying on the loss of the six #1 picks from the canes should keep in mind that A) Miami is a brutal place to open the season, B) Miami is deep and will still win or push the physical matchups (skilled positions goes to fsu).

I'd look for a conservative 1st half (under) and for fsu to hit some big plays after a couple of quarters.

IOWA STATE is in the BIG 12.

Yes, my boy Ferentz has done some job and is a really good coach.

Back to back 10 win seasons for the Hawkeyes!

How many teams in the nation can say that?

Good luck this weekend GD.

Just looking forward to a good game. Win, lose, or draw.

Good luck all

A friend called me earlier and ask I cap him a winner in this game. All I could do was laugh.

Fish, was referring to all the big 10 teams in your post, not Iowa St.
And when the world is on Michigan this weekend, I will be on Notre Dame.

General,
I'll give you 5000-1 all you want on the draw.
Note: 60 minute result does not count.

Yeah GD, I hear ya.

I do however think that Michigan is the superior team in the BIG TEN this year.........which may not be saying much.
