Only way I see to rate plays is by number of players that select a particular side. Example today somewhere around 164 contestants selected the Ravens -3. This was ranked the number one selection, number 2 is Minnesota -5 with 113 players using them. The least "picked" team was Arizona with only 27 players picking the Cards.

Ranks Picked Score Team Line Team Score Picked Ranks
16 57 NEW 3 Ind 39 23
3 104 Ten 3 MIA 43 22
11 70 PIT 4 Oak 55 17
5 95 WAS 2 Tam 55 17
1 164 Bal 3 CLE 48 18
12 64 BUF 2½ Jax 46 20
9 74 NYJ 4½ Cin 36 25
27 29 CHI 3 Det 97 4
16 57 STL 10½ Arz 27 28
7 79 Sea 2 NOR 62 13
8 75 HOU 4½ Sdg 44 21

Not really sure, but do think that the order (p1, p2 etc.) doesn't mean anything as far any kind of play strentgh goes. Maybe someone more familar with the contest can help.

No rating...all picks worth the same...P1, P2 just means the first pick, the second pic, etc. and they're just listed in rotation order.

Golden Nugget requires one pick to be a best bet worth two points.

Last year, starting around week 5, going with the plays picked by at least 2 of the current top 5 contestants (and passing when the top 5 had picks on both sides) won at about a 58-60% clip until the last couple of weeks of the season.

Be careful of just looking at "total times picked" data for all contestants - it does not subtract the number who had the other side. Some games seem to be picked by a lot of contestants, esp if there is a line move after the "contest" line comes out - and you can't get that number by the time the picks are released. Classic case of chasing after old line moves - it might work for the contest, but not for players having to use the current number.

One exception, parlay cards can often be found with the older number, if it hasn't moved so much as to be taken off the card.

Hey KiKi good luck in the Hilton, saw your picks on the site as I was checking other entries compared to those I'm proxying for this year. I guess you liked the end of the Buff-Jax game and Houston did not give themselves a chance with all those turnovers, anyways gl

Best of luck at the Hilton. I also went 3-2 for Week #1. Looks like over 400 contestants this year. Jax Game was chicken for you and feathers for me. Lets both cash!
