I say speaks because its still early and it could change later on, as soon as the 4 oclocks end, people will call for the night game but so far......

its all KC Chiefs and how could it not...everyone has Priest Priest Priest in their heads......

If I remember right it was only a long punt return towards end of game that pulled out one win against Denver last year. Denver has added a few on defense, primarily Champ Bailey, but is it enough to slow down KC? Remember, Chiefs receivers are hurting a little bit.....

Just like the Raven game was NOTHING BUT A BAIT GAME! All week Ravens were hit hard but line NEVER CHANGED,why?? Books new! Tonights matchup has a total of 47 with a lot of OVER play. This game will probably stay under IMO.

we're having a pretty good week so far so as expected, people are probably gonna be trying to make it all back with the sunday night game....

Why does everyone care who the public is on? Just because more of the casual bettors like KC and the Over doesn't mean Denver's going to cover and the total will go under. The only time you should take notice is for line value. However in the NFL public money is rarely pushing lines as sharp money will just push the line right back where it should be.

Stating one game between Cleveland and Baltimore today and saying the bookmakers knew something everyone else didn't is silly. The line was fine! What should it have been?

If the public is always wrong then wouldn't it be easy just to bet the opposite side and watch your bankroll grow?

Public consensus should only be a very small tool for determining winners, especially in the NFL.

There is my little rant.

All I can say to that is I used to think like most public bettors and bet the same way until one wise man taught me to think differently. Things have changed and I tend to win more then before.

What will I learn? I'm not endorsing betting with the public, I'm simply saying it isn't of great importance as many seem to believe.

I agree it is not a wise when you find your picks following the public on a consistent basis, laying pts on the road, betting more overs and favs, laying heavy juice etc. However just finding out who the public likes and then blindly betting the other way without any other justification serves no profitable purpose.

HP,I personally think that being on the opposite side of the public in the NFL is the place to be.However you still need discipline and money management.
