Horrible day for books?

I would imagine books did well on the STL, Houston, Sanfran, And Balt games, to offset some of the more predictable ones...

I don't think they did that bad. This weekend they got clobbered with the Tenn. and Seat. games. But was offset with Balt. and Atl. Couple of the big totals went there way.

morning was ok........for books

afternoon games have always been a crap-shoot for books as far as the biggest need....(three games scheduled today)

some books (slim) needed to beat frisco with both hands.....

other books had to beat minny......not even close

then others (myself included) had to beat philly......we got teased with the backdoor slamming shut...

so an afternoon for books going 1-2...could of been ok... or as in slims case "i am the happiest man on earth".......if the g-men couldve backdoored it..i wouldnt of cared if atl did cover(needed frisco, but for not near as much as ny).....and i would have been the happiest man on earth....lol

Guessing if Denver wins by 3 tonite it won't help the books any.

journeyman..........for some books it might of been, for others no.......look at slims post......they needed atl huge.....nyg was the world beater over here.......
