Any people from New Orleans still left online?

I would love to see how the French Quarter reacts to this storm, its one of, if not the most, unique places in America...i LOVE it there and hope it comes out ok!

Baton Rouge here, about 60 miles away from New Orleans.

Lots of wind here, not too badly yet. They are expecting the wind to pick up tonight around 11 p.m.

New Orleans, from what I hear, is getting lots of wind and rain now, although I suspect MOST of Louisiana will be spared.

Just talked to my sister, who lives near Tulane, no rain right now and mild winds so far. Some people are even coming back into the city. They seem to feel if they only get the "back end" of the storm it should not be too bad. If it veers West, there still could be some problems.
