Please explain. Im so sick of these fixed races and fixed pools even when you win one on your own you get screwed.

$23.00 horse on top (longest shot on the board), a 7-2 second choice second and the second longest shot on the board third. An even money horse out of the money and the $2 Tri pays $250?

I am so pissed right now I could explode. This is just crap. so the Fix was in to get this 1-1 off the board? that sucks for all the backers of that horse. This just smells.

trytrytry--Sounds a little suspicious to me as well. This won't ease your pain right now but consider placing wagers where you have a good idea about the return. You can see the Exacta Will Pays: so that may be a better way for you to go. I know if you love the tris and that type of wager it can be frustrating. But imagine having a cool $20. on that $23. winner.
Less stress and agravation.

That race (The Futurity) was given out by Thourograph as their race of the day, and they had it boxed cold, and they also gave it out on the radio as a tri box. I know for a fat that it had to be played by people on the radio because the tri paid $250 and change, but the exacta paid huge $77.50.

Pay offs like that are easy to see how much influence these guys have. Here in Cal there are probably 4 or 5 shows a day on. Not to mention that Fuchiachi Rock Star wasn't all that hard to pitch, even if he was 6/5. That gives you a basic 123 box, and that is anumber a lot of people play anyways.

But I still think it was because of Thourograph giving it out. I have seen them give 15-1 morningline horse, and see them open up 5 or 6 to 1.
