Dear Posters,
due to the migration to the new system, once you get your new password to be able to login, please use the User Control Panel (User CP) on the top left corner to update your profile.

On that area you can select your avatar, update your time settings, select your birth date etc.

Please help us mantain an updated profile, take a couple minutes to update your information, we really appreciate it. :)

Admin.

Kidslick,
to get your old avatar to work, go to the old forum and right click on your avatar, select properties, then copy the url for the location.
In the new forum, go to your User CP (control panel) and paste the url from the old avatar into the custom avatar section. It worked for me, good luck to you.

Under the editing options, I checked "not to be shown as actively current" when logging in. Why is my name still appearing and how do I make an adjustment?

You are set to invisible, you can see yourself , so can moderators , but none other can see that you are logged in.

Hope this clarifies your question

My apologies for bothering you as I am sure you are very busy with this change over. How can I find my previous posts? Are they gone forever and we start new today or is there some manner in the controls panel where I can find them?

There is a way, however avatars over 100KB go over all good admin practices, mostly on big forums like this.

At the moment personally I gotta work on stability before making exceptions, I know some people like animated avatars, some of those are quite big, if at the end is up to me to decide that i wouldnt give the chance to add such avatars ..

Let me know , is it really needed ?

If you click over your name or display name, you will get a window that says: "Display more posts from XXXX" , click there and you will get your listing.

Hope this helps

Thank you. Last question. Why is my avatar so small compared to most others? Can it be enlarged slightly?

that is the image size , you can select or add a custom avatar with a size of 100 by 100 pixels if you want , use USER CP to make those changes if needed.
