I can't say I expected much out of this "series".

First one was supposed to be about how a line is made...basically they said "LVSC pulls it out of their ass" no useful information whatsoever

Second one about how fixed games come about...just rehashed a 10-year old story

Remember ESPN is for very casual fans, many who have never bet and even those that have probably haven't gone beyond understanding anything more than you can find in a daily newspaper.

I doubt RX readers will get anything out of the remaining "episodes" except maybe a few laughs.

Drunkguy You Are Right We Never Should Have Expected Much From Espn In This "series" Because There Is No One At Espn With A Gaming Background And The Whole Network Has Gone So Far Downhill. The Asu Thing Was So Bad Nothing New Was Put Forth And The Lvsc Thing Has Basically Been Done To Death By Espn And Other Networks Like Hbo. Espn Should Have Focused On Why Ken White Should Beg Scott Kaminsky To Come Back And Work At Lvsc Again.

Espn Was Awesome When It Focused Almost Exclusively On Producing Sportscenter. That Was Back In The Early 90s When They Had Guys Like Keith Olbermann, Chris Myers And Jack Edwards. Now With All The Sister Networks, The Website And Sister Channels The Whole Thing Is Horribly Bad. The Hiring Of Stuart Scott In The Summer Of 1993 Was The Start Of The Fall! Hes A Disgrace To Me And All Black People!!

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

wayne root in the new york post

" How is it that John McEnroe is such a hip, urbane fellow, yet, on his CNBC show Wednesday, he both hosted and indulged scamdicapper Wayne Root?

McEnroe identified Root as a "gambling expert," the "Warren Buffet of sports gambling" when, a few minutes of pre-show research would have revealed Root to be a blowhard and a liar whom bookies — legal and illegal — have long known as a bad joke.

And while we could go on for hours about the bogus claims Root has made, it's worth noting that appearing with him was Sid Rosenberg, admitted problem gambler, casino rep and trouble-magnet. He also indulged Root. Surely, Rosenberg knows what Root's all about, leaving us in a heightened state of suspicion.
