Growing up Pete Rose was my favorite player, and i loved the Big Red Machine....

Very sad how his amazing career has been tarnished by the mistakes he made...

Just wondering if anyone else plans on watching?

I wonder how "un"-bias this movie will be?

I will definitely watch and see what i think.....I liked the Bobby Knight movie they did last year "on the brink", so i wonder if they will repeat with a good one here......

It will be on lots of repeats, just like their movie about Bear Bryant. I will definetly tape it. I think the over under on the promo commericials is over 1000
-150, under +130.

The quality of "The Junction Boys" and "A season on the Brink" have me VERY skeptical about "Hustle"...it looks good and interesting, but so did those other 2!

When is this on? I haven't seen any ads for it on ESPN or anything That's the problem with that network--they rarely promote any of their shows, especially the "original" programming?

Did you guys know that they're showing the World Series of Poker on ESPN? I must have been living under a rock for a few weeks.

They do tend to over do it on the self promotion....

Just like Dream Job....They advertise that thing like its the next amazing race, or survivor.....

Show is not that good.....

And this year's crop seems worse than last years...

movie seems pretty interesting so far....just wonder how much is true, and how much is speculation....still interesting though..

although it seems they are portraying Pete Rose, as a half gay Forrest Gump...

I watched it (while posting a little) and enjoyed Tom Sizemore's performance very much. I have seen guys lose everything gambling like Rose did over the years, not a pretty site.

bill walters lost his house (yes his house that he lived in with his wife, imagine having to break that one to your hunny?) pitching nickles and then came back to become the most acclaimed gambler of our time.

discipline may be the toughest thing to learn in this game and some dont ever learn it period.

sometimes people have all the discipline in the world when sober i will not mention any names i will just point at myself and whistle but when alcohol comes into play make total ass clown wagers. i live 1 block away from 2 bars and a liquor store sometimes i wish i could toss a pad lock on all 3 of them but then even if i could id probably just walk the extra few blocks to the next nearest one.:drink:

you are 100% correct. SportsCenter is a flat out joke! as long as they have the #1 reason for a remote control and MUTE button on the air - Stuart Scott - ESPN will be a shadow of what it once was.
