Right now it is both the best and worst time to bet on baseball.

Your strategy for this part of the year should be, to bet on underdogs in games where neither team has any playoff chance. This late in the year the stats mean nothing when the teams playing have no playoff chance.

ALSO!!

I would be very heavy on ALL overs for total runs. Pitchers are not trying as hard, since they have no playoff chance. I mean why should they risk hurting themselves?

The above strategy should only be used for games containing two teams that have absolutely zero chance of making the playoffs.

As always good luck!

Makes sense to me BaseballGuy. I've also noticed the overs occuring quite a bit lately.

Baseball is gone to me...... Next time I place a bet will probably be on game 4 of the World Series. STL up 3-0 over the Yanks :)

It's never a good time to be playing when statistics become meaningless. This time of year, when teams have given up and the rosters are full of minor leaguers, you're just guessing on most games. Goodbye baseball till next May.
