How in the world can you fill a roster spot with this guy?

The bum had a 5.50 ERA in AAA!

Shi*, his bad karma may cost the team a playoff spot.....................GET RID OF HIM NOW!!!!

The fans are allready stating their case by booing Francona because he brought in the bum last night.

Its on you Theo...........I ask you now to take him off the roster!

As most of you know, THEO took my advice a few months ago when I asked him to go after speed and defense and he went out and did just that by getting two gold glovers and a stolen base guru in Roberts.

Please, get rid of KIM now............tonight!!

This is no time to play kids games!

It's a 40 man roster thing, he is history for any playoffs.

I just hope francona learns his lesson. Don't leave Pedro in late against they Yankees. He should've yanked him with the lead after 7.

For whatever reasons Pedro doesn't match up with the Yankees that well anymore and he definitely tires late.

Whats your point?

The team may not make the playoffs with this guy on the roster.

I realize he will not be on a playoff roster.

Get him off the team now so the team does make the playoffs.

The guy is nothing but bad news.

A 5 game lead with 9 games to play is not a cinch for a team with KIM on the roster.

the yankees are clearly better than the sox right now. and if the yankees win the next two they will also win the regular season series 10-9 when the sox were ahead 6-1. what is it with this damn boston franchise, they cant ever seasl the deal on anything. I've never seen anything like it. close it out with a win tommorow please please please please. i want to beat the yankees at least one damn thing. 1 of 2 games boston just 1 damn win. its not that hard.

and slick if rivera is so good whats up with the 2 or 3 blown saves vs boston this year and choke job in game 7 against zona. he is pretty good, he is not automatic.

hey miss funk i love ya........but you have to realize even the best fail at times no one is perfect. listen i bust ya balls big time, because to be honest and i have said it before i am not sold on the yankees this year..

the yankees are built for the 152 game season whatever the number is.. but when it comes to the playoff they will be fair game , there pitching has been real good in sept but they are still weak with no lefty starter and this will be there downfall, and the red sox's scare the hell at of me in a five game series.. and i love my yankees

ohhhh by the way last 20 games when pedrooooo started against the yankees they are 6 wins
.................................14 losses

Although I could care less about either one of these teams I will say Rivera deserves a lot of the praise he gets. He's blown 21 saves in 4 YEARS...I think the Phillies bullpen blows 21 saves a month. :ohno:

7 of those 21 blown saves were against Boston so they seem to be his achilles heel but overall the guy is easily the best closer in baseball (no offense to Smoltz, Benitez, Foulke or anyone else but Rivera is #1). Wagner would be pretty good if he wasn't a revolving door DL man and don't get me started about Mesa.

As for Francona...he will manage your team right out of the playoffs. Be warned because when it comes to in-game management the guy is Webster's definition of a moron. :increible I speak from experiencing this first hand as a Phillies fan. The talent on Boston has the ability to overcome being Francona'd. Unfortunately we did not.

actually, I might be better.

really. I was a very good baseball player. I understand the game

the chances that I would have sent Pedro out in the 8th inning last year vs NY would be zero. Timlin in, Williamson warming up. If needed beyond Williamson, Lowe ( Former 40+ save closer) warming up in the 9th. Wakefield up and in beyond that.

thurs- No way you re-hab Kim in a pennant chase game. This guy has no chance to be on a playoff roster. It cost them the game thursday.

tonight- It isnt a big secret that leaving Pedro out to die against the Yankees last year cost Grady his job. Grady had so many potential relievers who had been unhittable in the playoffs ( Timlin, Williamson, Wakefield) and Lowe in reserve rested and waiting, his decision was insane.

Francona just pulled the same thing. Left Pedro out too long tonight , he never should have pitched in the 8th. There was a rested bullpen available he could have turned too.

at least Francona is fukkin up now. Maybe he will figure out in the playoffs you dont wait for a tired pitcher to get battered before you take him out

red sox managers please note- his name is Mike Timlin. He can hold a 1 run lead in the 8th vs. the yankees. He throws 95 miles an hour. Please look into this option. Thank you.

And I defended Byung Yung Kim early this season. Fishhead was right and I was wrong. That guy couldnt get 8th grade Catholic girls softball players out.

Red Sox have to eat the 5 million they pay him next season.
