One of the greats is finished. Roy should never fight again. He was completely outclassed and beaten by what I would generously consider an "average" champion.

Roy looked like an old mule. He needs to give it up, his time has come and pass. The only person he could fight is Mike Tyson in the battle of the old and washed up. He had a hell of a run though.

agreed Funk, there is no WAY Roy should ever step foot in a ring again, unless it's as an announcer. He was completely schooled by a "journeyman" and obviously does not have what it takes to compete at the championship level. I can only hope he is OK and does not end up taking the Ali road.:toothless

pal of mine told me they were trying to talk roy into going to a hospital when they signed off. the way that KO happened that wouldnt be a bad idea. at least go when no one is looking.

all good things must come to an end.

hopefully he doesn't hang on and suffer more damage. in his prime, he was pound for pound the best, but age catches up with everyone.

what is truly amazing to me is how Hopkins has been able to dominate up until the age of 40 (approx.)
