Just curious, I watch all the games with the sound on mute
It seems like I don't get quite as aggrevated that way.
Don't need the announcers telling me the obvious or
some other bs. Anybody else?

Yes, especially for football games. How can anyone listen to Pat Summerall? He was a very good announcer at one time but has no business being on the air anymore. I love to listen to Vin Scully do baseball games so if I'm watching the Dodgers on TV, I'll put the radio on when he moves over to the radio side and then put the TV sound back on when he comes back on TV.

I also watch Sportscenter pretty often with the sound off so I don't have to listen to Stuart Scott and the other clowns at ESPN that think they're bigger than the show.

I Turn Off The Sound About Half The Time. Always Turn It Down When Dick Vitale And Chris Berman Are On. Same Goes For Gus Johnson Of Cbs. Now Im An African-american And I Love To See Talented Guys Advance In Life, But Gus Johnson Has No Business Doing Play-by-play FOR ANY NETWORK.

I put it on mute, load up the bong, and put in "Dark Side of the Moon". I find that the game action usually goes exactly with the lyrics in the songs!

Soccerbob That Is A Great Point About Stuart Scott And I Wrote Him A Long Letter To That Effect Many Years Ago. He Does A Disservice To African Americans By Talking The Way He Does With All That Ghetto Jive Slang. It Is Embarrassing To African Americans And Sets Us Back About 65-75 Years. He Tries To Make Himself Part Of Every Story. He Sits There And Uses His Arms And Body To Make All Sorts Of Unnecessary Gestures. Basically I Think He Just Wants To Be As Famous As The Ballplayers He Is Supposed To Report On. A Total Jackass. I Wish Espn Would Fire Him And Get Some Articulate Black Guy To Take His Place. Mike Tirico, Kevin Frazier, Lynn Swann.
