I cant figure this out. My computer at home and at work move around the internet just fine. But their not fully loading sites. I'm not getting many pictures or graphics.

At the RX forum page for instance my computer shows 37 items still to be downloaded, but they never do. I can't see any pictures or avitars. The "post new topic" button I just found is invisible.

I have checked for spyware, but have not found any. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do?

I dont think its the internet service providers problem, because other computers at work are fine. It could be a website dropped something on me which I visited at work and home yesterday, but I dont know which site or what it is

Help

Hello guys, I had the same problem with a new computer yesterday, I did some reading yesterday and Microsoft has develop a new September 2004 Security Update for JPEG Processing (GDI+). You need to download all the Critical updates for your computer and that will solved the problem. If for some reason when you try to download the Updates you don't get anything make sure you clean all the Temp Internet Files, close all the Explorer windows and then try again.

Also if you want to know what you are missing regarding the Critical Updates there is a Tool that you can download from Microsoft Site that is call MBSA ( Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer ).

I hope you guys find this handy.

Regards.

Make sure you that you clean the Temp Files first. Go to the Control Panel and click on Internet Options, Under General Tab, click on Delete Cookies and Deletes Files. Once you do that go to Start button again and Click windows Update, that should give you all the updates. Please let me know if this works for u.
