I forgot to pass this along until now. A few weeks ago, I was in Vegas for a football weekend, and the Mirage tried to get away with posting this line.

Georgia -7.5
S Carolina +7

WTF is that? Has anyone seen any book anywhere try to get away with something like this? I thought it was funny, and figured I'd pass it along. Vegas has really gone downhill, I guess.

I was out there that weekend and saw the same thing. But I had other things to do and decided to take South Carolina anyways as I thought they may win outright. The ticket ended up having +7.5 on it, so I'm not really sure what the answer is.

Possible mistake by the LCD board admin.

Although in Vegas, nothing would surprise me.

They probably changed it, because nobody was betting it. But I'm sure it was the correct line at the time, because none of the other lines had any + signs. They would just list the favorite at - points. But for about 15 minutes, this line read -7.5 +7. They must think they are in the mafia to pull something like that.

You would think so, Tommy. But I don't know, maybe they can set any line they want to.

You Would Think They Have Free Reign To Do Whatever They Choose Out There Based On Some Stunts That Have Been Pulled. But I Would Wager There Have To Be Some Limitations. Maybe Ill Drop An Email To The Folks At The Gcb.
