Milton Bradley

Once again, a pro athlete goes off the deep end. Sports leagues need to start setting harsh discipline for athletes that are going to engage in this type of behavior. Milton Bradley should be suspended for the rest of the regular season and whatever post season the LA Dodgers are involved in.
The Angels were correct in there suspension of Jose Guillen and the league was also correct in regards to Frank Francisco of the Texas Rangers. Now, either the LA Dodgers, or the league needs to do the same thing to Milton Bradley.

In regards to Jose Guillen, that was a team issue and not a fan issue. In Fransisco Rodriguez case, he was out of line because the fan never threw anything, just got under his skin with their badgering.
However, in Milton's case, there was a beer bottle thrown at him. Fans do not have that right to throw stuff. Any other event and the event would have been stopped and the fan escorted. I really belive that when Milton saw the beer bottle coming towards him he thought it was a glass bottle, which would have immensly scared him. If that was me, I would also have been livid. I agree he shouldn't have thrown the beer bottle back, but he knew it was plastic and he threw it away from anyone so no one could get hurt.
I love the way Milton plays. He plays with fire. When he strikes out or gets out in crucial situations like last night when he left 5 baserunners stranded in 2 at bats, he lets us know how pissed off he is. We as fans hate to see a player show no emotion when they do not produce. Perfect example is Shawn Green. So many times this year he has left so many baserunners on base yet he will go back to the dugout as if nothing happened. At least he could kick the dirt or do something to show us fans that he let us down. Not Milton. I have seen him angrily either break his bat on his leg or on the ground a couple of time this season. The Dodgers are in a tight race and should play like it. Milton does.
