It seems to me that kyle boller sucks. However, all you here from the ravens organization is how he is really improving and how good he has looked.

i dont get it. i havent seen anything to make me think boller will EVER be a good quarterback in the nfl. for that matter, he really was only good even at the college level for one year.

all the good quarterbacks in the nfl have one thing in common, you could tell right away that they had promise. favre, manning, brady, marino, elway, montana, young, simms, warner, greene, bulger.... the list goes on and on. from the first time they got on the field, you could see the potential.

i just dont see any potential in boller. they talk about how he isnt throwing interceptions the last two games, but if you only have 18 attempts per game, you ARE NOT SUPPOSED to throw interceptions.

boller had two fumbles that turned into 6 of the 9 total points cinci scored against the ravens on sunday. the second fumble came as he knocked the football out of HIS OWN HANDS, without being touched by a defender.

the only reason boller isnt being benched is because the ravens are winning. dont be surprised to see anthony wright take the starting qb spot sometime around midseason.

I dont know what they see in him. I honestly didnt think he was that great in college, however I dont think they will bench him. They have too much invested in him and the only way they are going to know what they have is to play him.

bombay,

interesting observation. however the ravens truly believe they have a shot at the superbowl this year. will they be willing to give that up?

I dont think he's going to make them miss the playoffs, I just dont think he's a franchise QB. He doesnt have to win games for them because he has a great runningback, line, and defense. However, if that defense is ever broken up, I dont think he can be the man to carry the team to the superbowl. The defense and running game is their bread and butter at this point. Only time will tell.

How many QBs have looked like Hall of Famers after 11 games...I know quite a few HOFers that looked horrible after their first 11 games...

As a Patriots fan, im just happy the Ravensgave us a first round pick so they could chose Boller. If I recall correctly, that pick ended up being Vincent Wilfork. It will be interesting to compare their on field progress/success over the years.

in 4 of bollers first 11 games, he has thrown for LESS THAN 100 YARDS!!!

also, he has accounted for about twice as many turnovers as touchdowns.

is there another quarterback that has been that bad???

jman,

could you name some of these guys for me??? and before you say elway, you better take a good look at some film. you could see he would be good even if he did have a rough start.
