Texas (86-72) is 3-1 last four Young (2-2, 4.75) starts, including an 8-6 win at (95-63) Boston, Young allowing one run on two hits over 5 2/3 innings. And a 1-0 win at Anaheim, Young allowing no runs on five hits over six innings. Texas is officially out of the playoffs off last night's 8-7 extra inning loss to the Angels, who remain in the thick of the playoff hunt. Still, imo, home dog rates a decent shot today.
