The Dodgers benefited from a SD rally last night as the Padres scored a pair of runs in the 6<SUP>th</SUP> inning to tie the game and eventually win in an extra frame. LA couldn’t take advantage of the good fortune though as the Rockies this time rallied for 3 runs in the 9<SUP>th</SUP> wasting a strong outing by Odalis Perez.<O></O>
LA’s magic number was reduced to 2 and despite last night’s setback they’ve won 5 of their last 7 overall and 20 of the last 27 in this series at home. <O></O>
Jose Lima goes for the Blue tonight and LA is an incredible 12-1 in his home starts.
