STL Cardinals reeling?

Man, just a few weeks ago, the Cardinals look untouchable, but as they have rested on their easy lead in the NL Central, they have seemed to be lulled to sleep, and have become accustomed to losing...

Will it be that easy to just turn it around when the playoffs start?

Rolen is just coming back from injury, so he is rusty, and the rest of that potent lineup has not been hitting anywhere near what they were before......

And although they have good pitchers, they have no REAL stopper in the starting rotation.....

could it be that the best team in the national league could struggle right out ot the gate in the playoffs?

Will be interesting to see....

i dont think you can gauge anything from the past week. they have had the central wrapped up for a month and home field advantage for a week or so. a few guys have not been playing regularly either.

one of their starters will miss the divisional series so, that may be a concern. my opinion is that they will get to the world series this year.

we will see...

I hope you're right, Blue. The Cards are my team, and I would be crushed if they don't win it all this year. Not to mention I've got a grand on them at a combined 13/2. I see you're about to post 5,000! Did you cash your Cubs season under yet?

i agree they may be the best "team" but i just wonder how fast a team can turn it back on, after taking it easy.....

the bet is a winner. its at wwts. they will probably wait until sunday or monday to grade it a winner.
