are 900#'s still around? not that I want to call any. but I remember about 10-12 years ago, in almost any newspaper you picked up almost 2 entire pages of 900 numbers to call touts and also 800 numbers but 900 numbers that ranged from 5 dollars a call all the way up to 50 dollars a call.

I dont really see these ads anymore, is this a 'lost art' for these guys?

I am embarassed to admit when I was 18 I actually called some of these. It got addicting for a bit, but then I had to quit calling when the phone bill came in and it was like 300 bucks and my mom flipped out and I used my head "ok no more pshycic friends mom, I promise" I didnt want her to know I was gambling of course but this gave me incentive to move out of the house :heh:

reason im asking is because I just got an email on how to set up a 900 # of course it is not as easy as they say it is actually kind of expensive, will take you a while before you actually turn a profit and you have to advertise a lot.
