Twins, Cleveland game suspended.

The word is that MLB has suspended the twins indians game which is currently 5-5 through the 11th inning, and it will be picked up tommorow at 1:10 (central?). This is all because they need to start preparing the Metrodome for a Gophers game later tonight.

I imagine all wagers will be voided, but it raises the interesting question: With the game being picked up at 5-5 in the 12th tommorow will someone post a line on it?:think:

Would be interesting to cap, involving bullpens and players who have already left the game.

I had Minny on the run line at Pinnacle. I would think that in a suspended game the wager would be refunded......or at least held until the completion of the game....but Pinny has the wager marked as a loss.

I am guessing (hoping) this is just some sort of computer-generated error and that they will correct it. I have written their CSD. Hopefully they will take care of it.

Meanwhile.......does anybody know the rule on run line wagers on suspended games ??

they had to stop the game so they could get the field ready for the minny/joe pa u football game

not sure about this - but it would seem all plays on this game would be refunded EXCEPT all plays on the total - but i will wait for someone to clarify this

i would compare this somewhat to the 2002 all-star game debacle

nevada gaming rules indicate all total and run line plays will be graded.. only moneylines are refunded.

No matter what happens in the resumed game tomorrow - all ML bettors have a push. Most lilely there will be some bettors who will be looking to collect if their side wins the next day. Happens whenever a tie game is suspended overnight.

My understanding is the same as what Noreaga said.

At every book I've played at, run lines and totals have action if the game goes to 9 innings (or 8.5 if the home team is leading). If it gets suspended, you just use the score at the end of the last full inning at the time of the suspension (or at the half inning if the home team is leading).

Pinny replied. Noriega & Darrly are correct. The wager is a loss. Sux, but I respect the ruling. I'm sure they paid everyone who took Cleveland +1.5

And I DEF-inately agree with DougJ. Baseball should take precedence. Let the kids wait till the baseball game is over....or go play in the schoolyard !!!
